Hello Friends ! Today we are trying to know about Future Perfect Tense Rules With Examples. In the previous notes, we have understood in detail about Future Continuous. Today we are going to study what is Future Perfect Tense and its types with structures and examples.
What is Future Perfect Tense
Future Perfect Tense : We all know that perfect means the completion of an action. And we are talking about future tense, then you can make sense that when an action is completed in the coming time, that is, if the sense of completion of an action in future is revealed, then we call it Future Perfect Tense.

Friends! After reading these examples carefully, we get some points clear :
- The first point is that in all these sentences, the use of two types of helping verb is being seen, which is : Will have / Shall have.
- The second point is that the third form of the verb is essentially used immediately after the helping verb.
- And two types of helping verb — “has/have” is being used in these Sentences.
Let us now see what are the rules for using the Helping Verb and Main verb in a sentence and how the sentences of Future Perfect Tense are structured ?
Important Rules of Future Perfect Tense :
To understand Future Perfect Tense well, study some of its rules :
- In this tense, the “Shall have” helping verb is used only with the “I” and “We” subjects and “Will have” helping verb with all other subjects whether they are singular or plural.
- The 3rd form of the verb is always used in Future perfect tense immediately after the helping verb.
Try to understand it from the table given below :

Types of Future Perfect Tense with Structures :
Friends! Like other tenses, four types of sentences are formed in Future Perfect Tense. Which you can understand in this way :
- Affirmative or Simple Sentence
- Negative sentence
- Interrogative Sentence
- Interrogative Negative Sentence
Affirmative Sentences | Simple Sentence :
It is very easy to make a simple sentence of Future Perfect Tense, for this you can follow the structure given in the table below :
- Structure for Affirmative sentence of Future Perfect Tense.

Negative Sentence :
In negative sentences, place a not immediately after “will/shall” or say that not is used between “will/shall” and “have“.

Interrogative Sentence :
In the interrogative Sentence, “will/shall” is written immediately before the subject and “have” after the subject.

Interrogative Negative Sentence :
This is the same structure as the interrogative one. Being negative, “Not” is used immediately after the subject and before “have”.
