Types of questions in English Grammar

Yes/No questions
Wh questions
1. Yes/No questions :
Whenever we use a questioning sentence in which only yes or no answers are required, then the sentences of this type are Yes / No questions.
Such interrogative sentences are always started with helping verb or be, do, have etc. verbs. That is, helping verb or be verb comes before the subject and the remaining structure comes after the subject. like :

2. Wh questions :
Friends! Wh questions that do not answer in yes or no and are expected to have a specific answer or information. These are also called information questions.
This type of questions always starts with Wh words. The rest of the structure is exactly the same as for ordinary interrogative sentences. That is, be, do, have or other helping verb is used immediately after Wh words. Let’s understand its structure :
